Kurukshetra, December 21, Sri Lanka’s Minister of Buddhist Governance, Religious and Religious Cultural Affairs, Vidura vikramanaayake said that the International Gita Mahotsav-2024 will be organized in Sri Lanka also with grandeur and gaiety. As soon as I set foot on this sacred land, I felt spirituality and the blessings of Lord Krishna. Thousands of years ago, Lord Shri Krishna gave the teachings of Geeta on this earth, which is completely relevant even today. Sri Lankan Tourism Minister Vidura vikramanaayake was expressing his feelings in the Maha Aarti and Maha Pujan program organized by the Kurukshetra Development Board at the Brahmasarovar Purushottampura Bagh in the International Gita Mahotsav late Thursday evening. Earlier, Tourism Minister Vidura Wickramanayake participated in the Mahapuja and Mahaaarti. He said that he felt spirituality after reaching the holy land of the holy book Gita. The entire humanity is receiving the message of peace from the teachings of this book. The teachings of this book are completely relevant not only for Kaliyuga but also for the future. Following the teachings of this book, we should try to understand each other and the whole world should move forward on the path of peace.
He said that along with understanding the teachings of this book, there is a need to adopt them in our lives. Only by following these teachings can any country move forward on the path of progress. The mind is purified by the teachings of this book and when the mind is pure then it will forget religion and caste and will be bound to the thread of humanity. When the entire humanity will be united, peace will definitely be established in the world. He said that after seeing the International Gita Mahotsav on this holy land, it has been decided that in the coming year i.e. the year 2024, International Gita Mahotsav will be organized on the land of Sri Lanka so that the people of Sri Lanka will also assimilate the teachings of the holy book Gita.

श्रीलंका के पर्यटन मंत्री विुदरा विक्रमनायके वीरवार को देर सायं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव में कुरुक्षेत्र विकास बोर्ड की तरफ से ब्रहमसरोवर पुरुषोत्तमपुरा बाग में आयोजित महाआरती व महापूजन कार्यक्रम में अपने मन के भाव व्यक्त कर रहे थे। इससे पहले पर्यटन मंत्री विुदरा विक्रमनायके ने महापूजन व महाआरती में भाग लिया। उन्होंने कहा कि पवित्र ग्रंथ गीता की पावन धरा पर पहुंचने पर आध्यात्मिकता का एहसास हुआ। इस ग्रंथ के उपदेशों से पूरी मानवता को शांति का संदेश मिल रहा है। इस ग्रंथ के उपदेश कलयुग के ही नहीं अपितु भविष्य के लिए भी पूरी तरह प्रासंगिक है। इस ग्रंथ के उपदेशों का अनुसरण करते हुए एक-दूसरे को समझने का प्रयास करना चाहिए और पूरे विश्व को शांति की राह पर आगे बढ़ना चाहिए।
उन्होंने कहा कि इस ग्रंथ के उपदेशों को समझने के साथ-साथ अपने जीवन में धारण करने की जरुरत है। इन उपदेशों का अनुसरण करके ही कोई भी देश तरक्की की राह पर आगे बढ़ सकता है। इस ग्रंथ के उपदेशों से मन शुद्ध होता है और जब मन शुद्ध होगा तो धर्म जाति को भूलकर मानवता के सूत्र में बंध जाएगा। जब पूरी मानवता एक सूत्र में बंध जाएगी तो निश्चित ही विश्व में शांति स्थापित होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि इस पावन धरा पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव को देखकर निर्णय लिया गया है कि आगामी वर्ष यानी वर्ष 2024 में श्रीलंका की धरा पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव का आयोजन किया जाएगा ताकि श्रीलंका के लोग भी पवित्र ग्रंथ गीता के उपदेशों से आत्मसात होंगे।

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव में 21 दिसंबर की शाम हरियाणवी नाईट से सजेगी। हरियाणा कला परिषद के निदेशक एवं एडीसी अखिल पिलानी ने जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि हरियाणवी रॉकस्टार गजेंद्र फौगाट इस नाईट का मुख्य आकर्षण होंगे। इसके अलावा लोक गायक महावीर गुड्डू अपनी लोक गायकी का रंग भी प्रस्तुत करेंगे।
सीईओ केडीबी एवं कला परिषद निदेशक अखिल पिलानी ने बताया कि खासकर युवाओं के जोश को देखते हुए हरियाणवी नाईट का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। हरियाणा कला परिषद काफी समय से अपनी संस्कृति व उनमें होने वाले नित नए प्रयोगों को मंच प्रदान करने के लिए प्रयासरत है। इसी श्रृंखला में मुख्य मंच पर गजेंद्र फौगाट नाईट रखी गयी है। उन्होंने बताया कि इस गजेंद्र फौगाट का विश्व प्रसिद्ध गीत बहु काले की, माता का ईमेल, सेक्टर आली कोठी समेत ऐसे कई गीत लोगों की जुबान पर हैं जिन्हें फौगाट सुनाकर महफ़िल लूट लेते हैं । इसके अलावा अनेकों देशों में गजेंद्र फोगाट अपने शो के माध्यम से हरियाणा को गौरवान्वित करते रहे है।
अखिल पिलानी ने अधिक जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि महावीर गुड्डू इससे पहले लोक गीतों की श्रृंखला प्रस्तुत करेंगे, महाबीर गुड्डू का बम लहरी प्रदेश व देश मे खूब प्रचलित है। गुड्डू ने ही प्रदेश के फोक आर्केस्ट्रा की शुरुआत की थी। वे कुरुक्षेत्र विश्वविद्यालय के सर्वश्रेष्ठ कलाकार भी रहे हैं। विदेश में हुई अंतरराष्ट्रीय गीता जयंती में भी पिछले वर्ष महावीर गुड्डू ने अपनी लोक संस्कृति की महक बिखेरी थी।

कुरुक्षेत्र 20 दिसंबर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव के अवसर पर संस्कृति सोसायटी फॉर आर्ट एंड कल्चर डेवलपमेंट, कुरुक्षेत्र विकास बोर्ड कुरूक्षेत्र और स्टेज अप के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आयोजित पहले हरियाणवी फिल्म महोत्सव में 65 से ज्यादा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय एवं राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित हरियाणवी फिल्म दादा लख्मी की स्क्रीनिंग की जाएगी। इस अवसर पर फिल्म के अभिनेता एवं निर्देशक यशपाल शर्मा स्वयं उपस्थित रहेंगे।
सोसाइटी फॉर आर्ट एंड कल्चरल डेवलपमेंट के अध्यक्ष धर्मेंद्र डांगी ने बताया कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव में कुरुक्षेत्र विकास बोर्ड कुरूक्षेत्र और स्टेज स्टेज अप के सहयोग से पहली बार हरियाणवी फिल्म महोत्सव वॉक इन सिनेमा का आयोजन किया जा रहा है, जिसमें नई व पुरानी हरियाणवी फिल्मों की स्क्रीनिंग की जा रही है। इसी कड़ी में 21 दिसंबर को शाम 4 बजे बॉलीवुड अभिनेता एवं निर्देशक यशपाल शर्मा द्वारा निर्मित फिल्म दादा लखमी की स्क्रीनिंग की जाएगी। जिसमें यशपाल शर्मा सहित फिल्म से जुड़े काफी कलाकार शामिल होंगे। हरियाणवी फिल्म महोत्सव के आयोजन सचिव विकास शर्मा ने बताया कि इस अवसर पर राणागढ़ (पश्चिम बंगाल) के सांसद जगन्नाथ सरकार मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में तथा प्रसिद्ध समाजसेवी संदीप गर्ग अति वशिष्ठ अतिथि के रूप में शामिल होंगे। यह महोत्सव ब्रह्मसरोवर पर आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को बहुत पसंद आ रहा है तथा अब तक इसमें चंद्रावल, म्हारी धरती मेरी मां, हरियाणा, छोरीयां छोरों से कम नहीं होती, ग्रुप डी आदि फिल्म की स्क्रीनिंग की जा चुकी है तथा 23 दिसंबर तक ऐसी ही कुछ और बेहतरीन फिल्मों की स्क्रीनिंग की जाएगी।

The Assam Pavilion at the International Gita Mahotsav is giving tourists a chance to experience Assam’s culture and folk art up close.
The Assam Pavilion displays traditional Assamese homes and the lifestyle of people living in rural areas through dioramas. Masks have always been important in Assamese culture, and these masks are used to depict stories from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Krishna’s childhood, including the slaying of Putana. In addition, the pavilion also displays the seventeen cultures of Assam. The Gurukul system and the guru-shishya tradition are also on display.
Paintings depicting Assam’s famous Kamakhya temple to Krishna’s leelas are a major attraction for visitors.
Coordinator of the Assam Pavilion exhibition, Himansu Sharma, a winner of the National Youth Award of the Sangeet Natak Akademi, and Publicity Officer (Assam) Jina Rajkumari said that artists are providing information to tourists about Assam’s culture through stalls and a stage.
Paintings depict Assam’s famous Kaziranga National Park. Hand-made bamboo products are also on display at the Assam Pavilion. The importance of bamboo in Assamese life and how it is used in daily life are also highlighted.
Traditional cuisine, including the famous pitha, which is made from soaked rice, is also being prepared and served to tourists at the stall. Tourists are also enjoying Assam’s famous tea, which is made with only milk and tea leaves.

Tourists are also eagerly watching the cuisine of Bukakhat, a famous place in Assam.
The Assam Pavilion also has a stall selling handmade textiles, including makhla chadar, which women wear like sarees, and necklaces made from red sandalwood seeds. Tourists are also buying Assam’s gamcha, which is also known as parna or towel in Haryana.

Sardar Surinder Singh, who came from Baroli village, said that he was aware of the ancient culture of Punjab and Haryana, but he got a chance to see the culture and folk art of Assam at the Assam Pavilion at the International Gita Mahotsav.
Similarly, Sardar Anup Singh of Andheri village said that the International Gita Mahotsav is giving people, especially the younger generation, an opportunity to learn about Assam’s culture along with Haryanavi culture. He said that children and youngsters should come to this festival and learn about their culture as well as Assam’s culture. This will show how India is a country of unity in diversity.
Brahmasarovar becomes devotional due to Gita Maha Aarti program of International Gita Mahotsav-2023
The fragrance of the International Gita Festival-2023 spread in the atmosphere of Kurukshetra with the evening Maha Aarti on the holy banks of the world-famous Brahmasarovar. This Maha Aarti marked the beginning of the second day of the evening Maha Aarti of the International Gita Mahotsav-2023. Governor Bandaru Dattatreya to inaugurate craft and fair today, also inaugurate media center, NCA Patiala artists will welcome from different states
The inauguration of the Craft and Fair of the International Gita Festival 2023 is going to happen on December 7. The inauguration of this craft and fair will be done by the Governor Bandaru Dattatreya at around 12 o’clock. Along with this, the Governor will also inaugurate the media center running from December 7 to 24. In this craft and fair, more than 250 craftsmen from 24 states have started decorating their craftsmanship. The important aspect is that the artists of the North Zone Cultural Center Patiala have also reached the holy land of Kurukshetra.
Deputy Commissioner Shantanu Sharma said that the Craft and Fair of the International Gita Festival 2023 will run from December 7 to 24 and the inauguration of this fair will start from December 7. In this craft and fair, the craftsmen of NCDC and DRDA have started reaching Brahmsarovar and most of them have also started decorating their craft art in the Sadariyas of Brahmsarovar. The fair will be inaugurated by Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and along with this, the media center will also be inaugurated. The preparations for this program have been made by the Kurukshetra Development Board. A group of about 71 artists from NCDC has reached Kurukshetra to entertain the tourists in this fair.

71 artists from 7 states will spread the unique culture from today
NCDC officer Bhupendra Singh said that the first batch of artists from NCDC has reached Kurukshetra for the International Gita Festival 2023. In this first group, 15 from Jammu and Kashmir, 15 from Himachal Pradesh, 12 from Rajasthan, 8 from Punjab, 15 from Uttarakhand, and 6 from Haryana have reached. Apart from this, a group of 15 artists from Chandigarh will also give their presentation from 7 to 10 December. In this festival, Madhya Pradesh’s Gudam Baja, Chhattisgarh’s Karma are also eager to give their best presentation. Craftsman Khalikuljama has decorated Banarasi handbags for daughters at stall number 64 at the International Gita Festival-2023. He said that he has brought Banarasi sarees, suits, dupattas, dining table runners made from Banarasi fabric especially for this festival. He has brought Banarasi handbags made from Banarasi fabric for the first time in this festival and their prices have also been fixed only from Rs 50 to Rs 150. The prices of Banarasi sarees are from Rs 800 to Rs 4500 and the prices of suits are kept around Rs 1250. Tourists can easily buy products made from Banarasi fabric at these prices. Assam has got the privilege of becoming a partner state during the festival on the land of Kurukshetra, the place where Gita was preached. It was on this holy land that Lord Shri Krishna gave the teachings of Gita to solve the problems of the world and to always follow the right path, this preaching is still relevant for the whole world.
MP Nabha Kumar Sarania was sharing his feelings with the craftsmen and officials of Assam on his arrival at the International Gita Mahotsav 2023. Earlier, MP Nabha Kumar Sarania, National President of ICC STWE (MSME), Government of India, Subir Pal, on behalf of ICC STWE (MSME), Government of India, inaugurated the stall number 281 of craftsman Anita Taman from Sikkim by cutting the ribbon.
