Story:
Born as Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, Akshay Kumar grew up in Delhi and later moved to Mumbai. After schooling, he went to Bangkok to learn martial arts and worked there as a chef and waiter to make ends meet. Life was tough, but Akshay never shied away from hard work. His love for action and discipline from martial arts shaped his personality.
Returning to India, he did small modeling gigs. One missed flight led to a chance audition — and it changed his life. He got his first lead role in Saugandh (1991). Then came Khiladi (1992), and he became Bollywood’s Action Hero.
But Akshay didn’t stop there. Over the years, he reinvented himself—doing comedy, romance, and socially driven films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Padman, and Airlift. Known for doing multiple films a year and never missing his 5 a.m. workouts, he’s an icon of fitness, discipline, and consistency.
